EMPLOYMENT THROUGH INTERNET FROM CANADA
Now, people would be getting employment in Lucknow from Canada through Internet. This would be organized by a
company called Amartech Convergence India (P) Ltd. In order to make Lucknow a knowledge base city, Mr. Deepak
Baghel – CEO, Amartech said that he would provide employment in the city through telecommunication.
Canadian telecommunication expert, Mr. Deepak Baghel is basically a resident of Lucknow. He said that there
has been an unmatched growth in the Information Technology sector in India in the last 10 years and if Lucknow
earns only 20% of the overall business of the Information Technology business, it will change the IT map of
Lucknow in the world arena.
Mr. Deepak Baghel told here that this year 67 percent of the overall job opportunities in North America has
been outsourced to India of which only 5 percent of the share will be enough for the industrial growth of
Lucknow. Mr. Deepak Baghel told that for the purpose of providing job opportunities to the young lads, company
has started its office in Nirala Nagar.
He told that before starting its services between Canada and India, young lads from Lucknow and surrounding
areas will be provided training on voice over internet protocol. Mr. Deepak Baghel gave several examples on
the opportunities available today in the BPO sector.
Mr. Deepak told that there are several companies in Canada, who want to outsource the business process to
India since the labor cost is very low here as compared to Canada.
